2019 International Women’s Day Panel Discussion & Live Q&A

This Friday, March 8th, at 10am PST I’ll be hosting an International Women’s Day (virtual) Panel Discussion & Live Q&A with 4 amazing women from the tech industry, to discuss leadership development, self-advocacy, and mentorship. We will be using the Zoom video app to host the panel so as long as you have an internet connection you can join us! It’s free!

Tanvi Patel, Software Engineer – Yelp

Tanvi currently works as Software Engineer at Yelp, San Francisco, as part of core web team. She originally hails from India where she worked for few years in product-oriented software companies as well as in media companies. Tanvi cares about technology, health, and equality. You will find her openly speaking about and advocating these causes at various events happening in Silicon Valley.

Crystle Johnson

Crystle Johnson, Sr. Manager, Diversity & Inclusion – Pandora

Crystle Johnson is a serial collaborator, inclusion and belonging strategist, and founder of The Red Lip Collective. She believes that our stories cultivate empathy and empathy is the key to creating inclusive spaces where we all belong and thrive. In her role as Sr. Manager, Diversity & Inclusion at Pandora Media, Crystle is responsible for embedding inclusion into talent processes to ensure attraction, development, and retention of diverse talent.

Diana Chiu

Diana Chiu, Senior Manager of Business Development – DuckDuckGo

Diana Chiu is a business and corporate development professional with over 10 years of experience specializing in technology partnerships and M&A. She has industry experience in technology, aviation, and biotech.

At DuckDuckGo, she works with strategic partners to help grow and improve the experience for users, while maintaining DuckDuckGo’s high standard in privacy. Previously, Diana was at Hootsuite, where she led four successful acquisitions and evaluated strategic fit for over 300 tech start-ups. Prior to that, she was at CHC helicopter working on aviation M&A deals and the company’s $400M IPO. Diana started her career in business and corporate development through evaluating IP licensing deals in biotech.

Eli Budelli

Eli Budelli, Mobile Team Lead, Automattic

Eli Budelli has spent most of her professional career developing mobile apps, from the Palm Pilot to the iPhone X. She has worked as a developer and release manager for the WordPress iOS app, and is currently leading the mobile division at Automattic.
